RANCHO SAN JUAN TRAIL RUN and CAMP
2015 INFORMATION SCHEDULE
Rancho San Juan Trail Run and Camp will be held on the private San Juan Ranch in Los Alamos California February 7 and 8, 2015. This event will feature a 5k and 10k trail run, children's mile, Tarahumara inspired Bola Races, 25k and 50k trail runs. There will be camping, food, music, running games, trail races and children’s activities. Ideal family weekend on the beautiful California Central Coast.
Course - All distances will feature 100% dirt trail and ranch road surfaces. Moderate rolling hills, covered valleys and exposed ridges. The fifteen mile loop course is fast and completely runnable. 5k out and back - 10k loop - 25k one 15+ mile loop - 50k two 15+ mile loops.
Aid - There will be aid on course approximately every five miles.

Cutoffs - none
Camping - Primitive group camping is available. Tents, RVs and car camping is welcome on both Friday and Saturday nights. There will be portable toilets and no other amenities. Please plan accordingly.
Weather - Springtime temperatures should be mild and comfortable.
Bonfire - There will be a group bonfire. Please bring a bundle of firewood to contribute. Bring your lawn chair and warm blankets.
Food - Homemade runner friendly with vegetarian options, camp food will be available for purchase. The menu will include, burritos, sandwiches, soups, pancakes, coffee and soft drinks. Food for purchase will be available on Friday evening, all day Saturday and Sunday.
Music - Bring your favorite instruments for our campfire jam sessions. We will also enjoy live local professional musicians on Saturday evening. Local singer song writer Caitlyn Vassar will sing and play her guitar. Following Caitlyn will be a special surprise guest band - direct from Mexico - the accordion fueled Musica Norteno.
Special awards for first place male and female in each distance.
Tee Shirt - short sleeve tech running shirt for all paid entrants.

Overview
Join Luis Escobar and friends for another extraordinary trail running experience on the California Central Coast. Located just one hour north of Santa Barbara, Rancho San Juan is a privately owned, working cattle ranch in Los Alamos California. Good friends, good food, good music, good running, good times.
