About the event
The Sierra Crest is a perfect trail run for anyone who wants to explore the amazing trails and vistas Donner Summit has to offer. It can be a perfect training run for Ultra Runners, a great first race for those who are new to trail running, and a ton of fun for everyone involved!
Courses
The courses will be all-new for 2019. Each will start and end at the ASC Training Center on Donner Summit. Racers will start on ASC trails and then head north towards Castle Peak. There will be a 15k loop with a 5k cutoff. The 30k will comprise two laps of the 15k course. As always, the Sierra Crest will have the best planned and best marked courses!
All Runners Receive
All runners will receive a registration gift and all finishers will receive a finisher’s glass. There will be awards for the top three men and women in each race, age group prizes, and lots of raffle prizes, as well.
Finishers will be welcomed by a great party including beer from the Brewing Lair (for all racers over 21) and an amazing meal catered by Truckee Bakery.
