Racecourse

The racecourse will consist of a single 10-kilometer (6.2 miles) loop on the private trails through the Hutton-Loyd Tree Farm’s beautiful valley and surrounding foothills. The 100K race will complete ten loops, the 50K race five loops, and the 30K race three loops. All loops will be run in the same direction.

The racecourse surface is mostly singletrack and doubletrack dirt trails with a several short sections of gravel road. Potential water crossings will depend on rainfall before or during the event.

The racecourse terrain includes some fast valleys, fun ridges, and a couple of steeper climbs and descents. Each loop offers approximately +1,300’ feet of elevation gain and equal loss.

There will be an Aid-Station located at the Start/Finish Line. This Aid-Station will be manned by event staff and fully stocked with fluids and nutrition. There will be a manned, but fluids only Aid-Station located near the halfway point of each loop. Both Aid-Stations will include ice buckets for cooling and other cooling devices. Hot Hot Hundred Trail Fest is a cupless event, please plan accordingly.

The racecourse will be superbly marked with flags, ribbons, and signs, and will also include marshals at key locations as needed.

There will be a 20-hour cutoff for all race distances and the racecourse will close at 4:00 am on Sunday. All Athletes and Teams must start their final loop no later than 2:00 am.

A complete description, including maps and elevation profiles, can be viewed by visiting Hot Hot Hundred Trail Fest Website.
