Race Details

This is a fun and flat trail race at Washoe Lake State Park. This race is perfect for the first time trail runner or anyone going for speed. The course is a flat out and back on non-technical jeep & single track trails with the gorgeous views of the surrounding Nevada mountains.

All participants will receive a unique finisher's medal, free downloadable race photos, plus post-race food and beer.

Race start will take place at the Equestrian pavilion. The park entrance fee is waived race morning for all participants.

Course & Aid Stations

The course is a flat out and back on non-technical jeep & single track trails with the gorgeous views of the surrounding Nevada mountains. There are some sandy areas as well as some areas with “soft ground.” We suggest wearing trail gaiters if you have them, but they are not necessary.
The course will be very well marked with cones, arrows and orange flagging.

Aid stations will be stocked with water, ice, and Tailwind Nutrition. (Tailwind is our electrolyte beverage.) We will also have typical "ultra" food at aid stations; fruit, chips, coke, candy.
