The Series

The Blue Ridge Ultra Series consists of runners competing in 3 races: Eastern Divide, the High Bridge Ultra, and the Old Glory Trail Runs - all in the the ultra distances for each race.

Participants must register for each race individually and for the race series to be considered as a participant.

All participants of the series will receive a Salomon Trailblazer 20 backpack with the series logo embroidered on it.

The top three men and women finishers (lowest combined times across the series) will receive a top finisher's award.

You must be registered for the series and all three races, on their individual registration pages here on UltraSignup, before June 14th - the day before Eastern Divide - to be considered as a participant. To be awarded the Salomon pack, you must complete all races and within the cutoffs.

Why run the Blue Ridge Ultra Series?

Southwest, and Central, Virginia are beautiful. Our hope is to highlight the beautiful sights and courses that SW and Central VA have to offer.

For this year, we have 3 races. Our hope is to add more in years to come. Each race has its own unique feel and set of challenges. This series will test runners in their versatility and give opportunities to grow as trail runners.
