**UPDATE** We will run no matter how many people sign up! In addition there will be plenty of opportunity to run at the Glampground before and after the race. Free camping on Friday and Saturday night as well! Join us for a fun weekend in the desert!

There is no set distance for this race! It all depends on who shows up...
In this game.
You do not have to be the fastest.
But you can't be the slowest.

To play is very easy.

At 9AM we run a 1 mile race.
The last one back is out.

Repeat every 20 minutes.
Until only 1 person remains.

No victory laps needed.

The total distance of the race depends on how many people show up.
With each person running a different distance.
Until they are each the slowest one left.


The winner only needs to win one race.
The last one.

Winning earlier races means nothing.
Or does it?

As long as you are not the last one back.
And start the next lap on time.
You are still in the race.

If you do not start a lap.
You are out.
Last one back from that lap is out as well.

We have a volunteer to be last for the first lap, so you will get to run at least 2!
Register for either distance and then come see how long you can remain in the game! We will have an aid station at the start/finish of each loop with a campfire and warm food. You will have space for a camp chair and cooler close the the start/finish line if you'd like.

Joshua Tree Glampground

Welcome to Joshua Tree, California! Enjoy a private 20+ acre retreat less than 1 mile from the center of town and just 10 minutes to the National Park Entrance. The JTG includes a gorgeous 1 mile loop trail which is great for our fun running events. This race is just one option to run annually at the JTG!
