The Uphill Mile is only $5.28, or just one penny per ten feet (if you put it that way) when you register for Saturday's Lost Cat 50k or Sunday's Dorset Hollow Road Race!
If you've already registered for the other Dorset Running Festival events, check your inbox for a coupon to register for the Wildcard Friday race! If you still have to sign up for either the Lost Cat 50k or the Dorset Hollow Road Race, you can simply add-on registration for Wildcard Friday to your cart during checkout!
Day-of registration is NOT available. You must sign up online before the deadline!
Course
This 1-mile road race gains ~450' of elevation. The course is paved.
Race day info
There will be NO DAY-OF SIGNUPS!!!
All participants must ride shuttles to and from the race from the parking area. There is no car access at the start, so all runners must park at the designated parking and take the shuttle to the start. Shuttles are free for runners and spectators.
***PARKING***
Location: the field directly across the street from HN Williams General Store: 2732 VT-30, Dorset, VT 05251
Stop in the store to get breakfast, souvenirs, or literally anything you might need before or after the race!! It's a true Vermont General Store, so they have everything!
Shuttles will leave at 9:00 AM from the parking area. You must ride the shuttle! You cannot get dropped off at the start!
Shuttles will run back to the parking area roughly every 15 minutes, beginning when all heats are done.
Dorset Running Festival
Wildcard Friday is day one of the Dorset Running Festival, three days of races in historic Dorset, Vermont. If the Uphill Mile alone isn't enough for you, join us on Saturday, August 25 for the Lost Cat 50k, marathon, & half marathon, a hilly road-to-trail race through East Dorset and past old quarries on Mount Aeolus; and Sunday, August 26 for the Dorset Hollow Road Race 5k & 10k, a scenic rolling road race through idyllic Dorset Hollow!
