There Can Be Only One
The Mad Trapper Backyard Ultra is a race without a predetermined end.
Every hour, on the hour, races will enter the corral to run a 4.16667 mile (6.71km) trail loop. Racers are encouraged to complete as many loops as their legs, lungs and mind will allow.
The race doesn't end until ONLY ONE racer shows up in the starting corral. If he/she can complete that final loop within the hour, he/she will be crowned "The Only One", the "winner", the race's sole "finisher".
