MAS ROOTS

First off, what is MAS?
MAS (Misfit Adventure Seekers) is a group of local Middle Georgia runners, hikers, walkers, triathletes, and adventurers in general.

The MAS crew hosts weekly group runs, motivating challenges, camaraderie and offers answers and advise to anyone who has questions.

That said, come join us for a fun night of Trail Running. This is a 12HR Night time trail race from Sunset to Sunrise. Come run 1 hour or all 12. Anyone that completes more than 15K will be listed as a finisher. If you complete 50K or more during the 12hrs you will receive a finishing award. We will also be handing out Awards for the Top 3 Female and Male finishes who complete the most laps within the 12hr time limit.

The Course

The course will consist of a single track trail that is approximately 3 miles long. We will have 1 aid station at the start/Finish area. Only completed laps will count towards the awards.

The Trail surrounds a large field with plenty of room to set up tents or small shelters for anyone that wants an area to rest, relax, recharge or just plain pass out.

Mission

This is a Free event with a goal to expand and deepen the roots of trail running in the Middle GA Area. The event is being put on by the Local Misfit Adventure Seekers. We want to spread our love for trail running with as many people as we can and feel like this is a great way to do it. Come out and run for 1 hour or run for 12. Set a new distance PR, complete your first night time race, do something different and new. Join a community that cares less about how fast you are and more about who you are.

Pricing

Due to overwhelming support for this race; We have "Sold Out" of the 100 Free registrations. We have added a Donation Option for registration so we can enable and make use of the Wait List. If you get selected from the Wait-list you will be added to the event and charged $5. You also have the option to donate extra funds if you wish to help offset the cost of this awesome event.

This race is FREE. We have added an option so you may donate to help offset the cost of putting on the race every little bit helps. Any funds that we collect will be used strictly for the race with any extras being donated to the local OMBA that maintains the local trails.
