Fun for Everyone

As always we will have Games, Music and entertainment at the "Base camp" area so that your friends and family can come out and share a special experience with you as you achieve your big goals!
We will have our signature Corn-hole boards and Ultra-Jenga set up for everyone to enjoy and we will be taking music requests all night so that the party never stops!

General Info

Ever wonder what it would be like to run your favorite trails under the cool moonlight. The inaugural Moonshadow Half Marathon and 10k will be a challenging yet runnable course for all ability levels. As you may have guessed from the name of the race, it will be mostly at night under the moonlight! It will be an unforgettable night of running with all of your favorite people, enjoying the incredible trails of Cheyenne Mountain State Park. The race is guaranteed to be a unique challenge and an unforgettable night for everyone involved.

Headlamps or appropriate lighting will be required for all runners.

Race Day registration will be available but will not include a t-shirt.

When and Where?

The Half marathon and 10k will kick off at 7:00 PM at the Limekin trailhead.
Cheyenne Mountain State Park is located at 410 JL Ranch Heights Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80926

Both Races will have a Midnight cut off time which should allow plenty of time for everyone to make it back to the trail head to celebrate their accomplishments!

Awards

Finisher medals will be fully custom wooden pieces provided by Elevation Culture.

Aditional Awards will be given to the top finishers in each of the following categories in both the Half Marathon and the 10k:
Top 3 Women Overall
Top 3 Men Overall

Volunteer

If you would like to be a part of making the Moonshadow Half Marathon and 10k an incredible event please click on the "Volunteer" link next to the registration button. Volunteers will receive a free entry to a future Treeline Racing event in exchange for their time and generosity.

Aid Stations

In addition to a full array of Hammer Nutrition Products, our main aid station will be fully stocked with all of your favorites from the salty snacks like pretzels and chips to your favorite sweets like gummy worms and cookies! There will be Soda, electrolyte drink and water available as well. Not only do our aid stations have the best snacks to keep you fueled up, but they are also fully stocked with the friendliest volunteers on planet earth!
