We are White Oak Running Company (WORC) and we put on the Miocene Epic Endurance Challenge, Patapsco Trail Fest, and the Patapsco Valley 50k. We are organizing this low-key, non-competitive running challenge to give us runners something to look forward to and connect with each other during this time when all of our regular race plans have been canceled.
The idea is simple- choose which distance you want from May 1st to May 31st and email a screenshot of your Strava, Map My Run, watch face, etc. or anything else as proof of your run to info@whiteoakrunning.com. We'll compile the results at the end, but there are no prizes, as this is a non-competitive event.
Your $16 entry fee gets you a $10 off coupon code for either the 2020 Patapsco Trail Fest in September, the 2020 Patapsco Valley 50k in October, or the 2021 Miocene Epic, a WORC From Home vinyl sticker, and $1 will be donated to the Baltimore Restaurant Relief Fund, which supports furloughed and unemployed restaurant workers during the COVID-19 pandemic- https://www.bmorerestaurantrelief.org/ You can also choose to make an additional $5 or $10 contribution at checkout.
