RUN CAMP RUN RACE INFO

We are super excited to have an amazing evening 5K on Saturday February 19th @ 6pm and a 1/2 marathon on Sunday February 20th at 9am on the beautiful Pine Mountain Trail! Run Camp Run (formerly Pine Mountain is for Lovers) is a new race where you can have an amazing weekend of two races with friends on the trail! Come run this scenic and tough (1850 feet of gain) half marathon or challenging 5K on the road or run both! We promise a fun weekend with rolling hills and beautiful single track trails. Join us on Saturday for an evening of running and a post race fire, then camp over night (or hotel) and then wake up for an exciting 1/2 marathon on Sunday morning! This 1/2 race is 100% trail (except for the pavement of crossing over roads) and promises to challenge every runner.

Race Course:

Pine Mountain is a beautiful nature area and offers a little something for everyone who wishes to get off the road and enjoy the woods. The 1/2 course is made of mostly single track trail, rolling hills, roots, rocks, and some technical sections. Enjoy the morning twisting along the trail with your friends! This is a trail race and will take most runners over 2 hours to complete the 1/2 so you must carry a water bottle and any additional fuel you may need. There will be one full stocked aid station at the half marathon turn around point, Group Shelter #1 (half way). The only cut off is all 1/2 marathoners must be out of the aid station by 11:10pm. The 5K will be a challenging road race inside the camp grounds of FDR. Both races will start and finish at group shelter #2 inside the camp grounds right behind Lake Franklin. Swag/ Shirts:

5K runners will get sweat pants with their registration and all 1/2 marathoners will receive a race t-shirt. All 1/2 marathoners will receive a finishers camp mug too.. There will also be awards for first place overall male/female in the half marathon and first place overall male/female and masters male/female in the 5K. Due to Covid we will not have an awards ceremony after the race.

***T-shirt Deadline Feb 7th***
