RESET RUN | small loop; BIG impact

Location: Goebel Park, 501 Philadelphia St, Covington, KY 41011
Date: Saturday, June 5th, 2021 7AM-2PM

Description: Come check out one of Covington's most iconic parks paralleling the West side of Mainstrasse Village, Goebel Park. Goebel Park is known for its historic 100ft German Gothic clock tower chimes and the paved one-mile loop through the park. This loop will be home of The Reset Run offering you several options to run/walk while supporting a great cause. The loop will start at the clock tower and run along Philadelphia Street until it dead ends at 9th Street. At that point you will turn right and run through the park’s rolling hills, behind the neighborhood’s pool, and continue until you return back to the clock tower.


The Reset Run will be a great option for any challenge you’re looking for. Participants have goals ranging from a relaxed walk with their family, the first 5k they have done in years, on up to 6 straight hours of running looking to complete a marathon or more.

To add some fun and motivation to your challenge, every loop you complete within the hour will give you entries into hourly giveaway drawings. The more loops and the more hours spent on the path, the more chances to win prizes from local artists, gift cards to restaurants, running swag, and more!

We offer three events:
·6 hour (8am-2pm)
·3 hour (9am-12pm)
·Any distance, anytime (come out anytime between 7am-2pm for as much mileage as you would like)

Packet Pickup will be the morning/day of the run.

We are working with the city and some aid station specifics are still TBD. Masks are encouraged near aid stations/start/finish line. Water will be provided, and space will be made to allow runners to set up their own aid area for use during the run.

Reset Ministries | radical recovery, lasting life change

Funds raised by the run will be donated to Reset Ministries. Reset offers dignified housing to men and women who desire to live in sobriety and in freedom from a past lifestyle. Reset does this through a transformative residential program providing a growth-centric environment from which men and women are able to live out their transformation in everyday situations.

This year Reset Ministries is looking to raise $100,000 to finish the restoration of a recently acquired home. Please consider donating more to this project at resetministries.org.

Awards, Giveaways, and Swag

All participants that register by May 20th will receive a Reset Run race day hat.

All participants will be entered into random giveaways throughout the time of the event.

The male and female in the 6 hour and 3 hour events that complete the most laps will receive a special award.

Packet Pickup

One option for packet pickup is Thursday, June 3rd at Jack Rabbit in Newport, KY between 5:30-7. Jack Rabbit also host a group run at 6pm that even and we'd love to have you come out for it. Route typically is 3-4 miles with great views of the city.

If Thursday doesn't work for your schedule, we will have packet pickup available the morning/day of the race as well.
