1st Annual Mountain Movers Trail Run

We are excited to announce the first ever MOUNTAIN MOVERS 5K/10K Trail Run. This year the event will be benefitting "Families Feeding Families of Middle Georgia" which provides meals to those less fortunate during the holiday season. Saturday Sept 25, 2021

Format:
There will be a shotgun start for each race. Chip timing not available this year, but we hope to have this ability beginning next year!. The 10K will start at 8:15am and the 5K will start at 8:30am. This run is 100% trail and will loop back to starting point. The 5K is roughly 3.6 miles and the 10K will run the loop twice. This run is mostly single track well maintained trails with 2 main uphill sections and 2 main downhill sections. Rocks and roots are common on the trail, so keep an eye out for hazards. The river is in view for over 50% of the race giving participants a great opportunity for photos.

Hydration Stations:
Hydration will be found at Start/Finish and at mile 1.25, mile 2.00, and mile 3.10 to ensure each participant stays hydrated! We ask that you dispose of cups and any other trash in bins located at these stations.

Packet Pickup and Parking:
The park will open at 7:00am to allow participants to park and pick up packets at pavilion near starting line. Packets will include T-shirt and Bib. There is a $5 fee at the gate to park and this is not included in registration, so please plan accordingly.

After the Race:
All participants will receive a great pancake breakfast before heading home. Feel free to stay at the park all day and enjoy the river and trails with your family!

Awards:
Top Male/Female in each race.
Top Male/Female youth in each race.

Registration by Sept 5th will guarantee a T-shirt, registration will close Sept 17th with no race day registration available.
