Race Info

We have moved and rebranded the Big Rome XC Classic to Refinery Hill in McDonough, Georgia. This beautiful venue and winery provides the perfect location for a 5k that honors our friend Jerome Scales and supports the foundation that his widow created to continue his legacy, The Big Rome Running Foundation. The Big Rome Running Foundation provides scholarships to students
who will pursue cross country and track in college.

The course will be a road out and back with rolling hills that start and finishes at Refinery Hill.

Your race entry fee not only includes a t-shirt but also includes wine (or other beverage of your choice) and hors d'oeuvres.

There will be overall awards for the top male and female, top male and female masters, and top 3 male/female in each age group in the following age groups 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Awards will be a unique stemless wine glass.
