Race Information

Join us this Spring at Devils Den State Park, an Arkansas icon nestled in the Lee Creek Valley, for the Styx & Stones Trail Races. Each of the three race distances will explore the beautiful new Monument Trail system, Devils Den’s unique rock formations and rock gardens, and given the time of year…you may experience running under a seasonal waterfall! The longer the distance, the greater the rewards including creek crossings, big climbs, and more remote technical running.

From its inception with Mark Den Herder as RD, Styx & Stones has been about celebrating the trail community and giving back; donating 100% of any race proceeds to support the West Fork XC team. In 2022 and beyond, we will continue to honor and expand that tradition. With the help of our sponsors, our goal is that 100% of ALL race entries are donated to support local XC teams, Friends of Devils Den, and The Spark Foundation that do tremendous work in NW Arkansas providing increased access to health & fitness education and opportunities to school age children.

All races will start and finish at the CCC Pavilion & Fireplace at Devils Den State Park in Winslow, Arkansas. 50k will start promptly at 7am, 25k 8am, and 10kers get the bougie start time of 10am. Registration is $50 for the 50k and 25k distances and $30 for the 10k with a price increase effective 4/1. IF you register AFTER 4/1, we cannot guarantee you a shirt or any particular shirt size if we have any available (so get signed up!). There will be NO refunds if you cannot make it for any reason and NO bib transfers - 100% of race proceeds are donated, so consider it good trail karma. You may, through Ultrasignup, change YOUR race distance up until 4/15 but we will not refund if you down distance and you'll have to pay the difference to move up in distance.

PLEASE be at the starting area at least 15min before your scheduled race for a quick race briefing.
