Description

Stillwater Ultras are timed, endurance style loop races with a 3hr, 6hr, 12hr, and 24hr option. The races take place on a 1.5 mile loop on the Lake Logan Retreat property in Canton, NC. The loop consists of grass, gravel, single track trail, and a very small section of pavement. The start/finish line will be in a large field (tent city). There will be 1 aid station provided. Runners will have a designated area at the start/finish to set up their own canopies, chairs, and personal aid supplies as well. Cabins, bunks, and campsites are available within walking distance of the start/finish area for an extra charge. If you are looking for a distance PR or just a fun day with the running community this will be the race for you! Run or walk as much, or as little as you want in your alotted time.

Ammenities

There are cabins, tent camping sites, and bunkhouses with single bunks or a private "pod" of bunks available for you and your spectators/crew. All of these are right next to the course and start/finish line. Please call Jen Brauer at Lake Logan Retreat 1-828-646-0095 for availability and pricing. Please tell her that you are coming for Stillwater Ultras. There is plenty of parking and plenty of space for chairs and spectators. We will have port-a-johns at the start/finish area.

Packet Pick-up

Packet Pick-up will be held on Friday, December 9th at the Lake Logan Conference Center between 5-8pm. If you want to set up canopies at the start/finish area, check into bunks/campsites, etc please do so Friday afternoon. It will be much more difficult on Saturday while runners are on the course. We will have a buffet style dinner available on Friday evening for $25/person. The menu will include:

Lasagna(meat and veggie options)
Side vegetable
Bread
Salad bar
Dessert
Tea/water/coffee

If you are interested in the dinner, please purchase your ticket well in advance so we know how much food to prepare.

Refund Policy

There will be no refunds for this race. We will ALWAYS do everything in our power to make this race happen, but in the unfortunate event that the race must be postponed or cancelled we will not be able to provide any refunds. In the event of inclement weather this race will be postponed until a later date.
