The Why

The Fall River Bioreserve is the beautiful backdrop to our Annual Campaign kick-off where you can WALK. the Tattapanum Trail (about 1.1 miles) or 5K route, RUN. a 5 mile loop or 5K route through the trails, or RIDE. a 10 mile loop through the gravel roads of the conservation land. (Runners or riders can choose to do the course once or twice.) Whether you’re pursuing healthy habits, seeking community connections, or just want to support our Annual Campaign (or all three!), the trail race checks all the boxes.

And the fun doesn't stop there! Once walkers, runners, and riders cross the finish line the festivities begin. Refreshments, activities, and live music are TBD and will be announced as the race approaches.

Register today to get in on the action! Your support of the 5th Annual United We Move Trailfest helps fund Health, Education, Financial Stability, and Basic Needs programs throughout Greater Fall River bringing communities together, United in Purpose.

Please Note: Day of registration is available - Cash, check, and Venmo only will be accepted. No swag or packets will be mailed. No refunds will be given. The event will run rain or shine. Dogs are allowed but MUST be on leashes for the ENTIRE event.

The Walk Course

The Tattapanum trail is a lovely lollypop shaped route that's super-walkable and family friendly. Roots and rocks are prevalent, though there is little incline or decline on the loop.

The loop itself is about a mile long so the distance presented includes the walk to and from our staging area.

Walkers MUST stay to the side of the road as runners and cyclists are using the same road at the same time.

The Run Course

Join us for one or two loops of this 5 mile course through the rough roads and trails in the Fall River Bioreserve. You'll find a mix of rough paved roads, dirt and sand roads, grassy trails, and some rocky sections on the loop. There's very little elevation on this course, making it FAST for those looking to race.

Those who will run/walk should begin with the two loop runners.

The Ride Course

The United Way Ride Loop as it's come to be known is available for you to do once or twice. Due to the rough (sometimes muddy!) roads and trails, this route MUST be done on a gravel bike or mountain bike. That said, this 10 or 20 mile route is supremely rideable even for novice riders looking to try out their first gravel ride! If you're an experienced rider, this is a fun course to race through wide fire roads, grassy trails, and a little bit of single track.
