Description of the Race
The Andalé Racing Club is proud to announce the creation of a year long 5K and 1 Mile Racing Series to be run on the second Saturday, of every month in 2023, at Michael Gunn Park at Platte Meadows in Platte County, Missouri.
This will be a single race, seasonal (3 races), or annual (12 races) competitive format for you to choose to race in. We will have leaderboards and competitions for all sorts of groups. Men, women, youth, special, and possibly canine. There will be ranking and standings for individual races, seasonal, and annual competitions with cash prizes for the top finisher in each category. More to come on the format and point system for leaderboards and rankings.

Individual Races – Pick a race, enter, and run in it.
Season Series – Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall – Each season series will be three races.

T-Shirt & Course
T-Shirt: – More info coming…See Pictures for Wintertime Series, Spring, Summer, and Fall will be similar.
There will be a t-shirt for every seasonal race and a finishers shirt if you complete all three races in a season. So if you run two races in a season you get one shirt and some other swag that we are working on right now. Something unique to the season. Hats, gloves, or scarves are what we are thinking about for the first three races in 2023.
There will also be a unique shirt for anyone participating in the annual challenge and finishing the annual challenge.
Course:
This is probably my favorite part of this entire experience. The course will be different for each race. Some of the changes will be slight, some will be intense. It is both a crushed limestone/gravel trail as well as grassy meadow trail. You will run in dirt, rocky, root filled, trails as well. They would be wet, snowy, dry, slick, an adventure awaits. It will be a hilly and challenging course. Do not expect to set your 5K PR but you might set your 5K “trail” PR.

Race Day Packet Pickup at the race location, starting 1 hour prior to your event.
And yes, there will be Late Registration at both of the Packet pick-ups, the day prior to the race, and at the race itself.
Refund Policy:
No Refunds, but you can defer:
Runners may defer their race entries to another race in 2023 by notifying the Race Director a minimum of 10 days prior to the event. Deferral will not be permitted for any runner making a request less than 10 days before the scheduled event and we do NOT offer refunds. The race deferral is good for that year only. Requests for deferral must be submitted (to the Race Director) by email, or by communicating through the UltraSignup registration site.

Medals and Swag
There is a finisher medal for anyone who runs just one or two of the 5Ks or one of the 1 Mile races. You can see that medal via the pictures. It is a fairly straightforward medal with my logo and club name.
The second medal is if you compete in one of the series. YOU HAVE TO SIGN UP TO COMPETE IN ONE OF THE SERIES IN ORDER TO WIN THIS MEDAL.
This medal is much larger and fancier and comes with the ability to win four separate Free-Tail Bat magnetic inserts that will attach to the much larger medal. If you complete the Wintertime Series you will get the big medal, plus the icy cool blue bat insert.
Complete the Springtime Series then you add the Green Bat
Complete the Summer Series then you add the Red Bat
Complete the Fall Series then you add the Yellow Bat
There is also seasonal specific swag.
