Run4Hope2
This event is a bare-bones fundraiser to support those in recovery from Substance Use Disorder. It will be a self-supported 50 mile run and the proceeds will go to Boonville Valley Hope to help those in need. There may be volunteers along the way that provide fuel and hydration but please come prepared to complete the journey on what you can carry or have friends and family support.
Packet Pick-Up
Packet Pick-up will begin at 5:00am on RaceDay at the Green Ridge Station of the Katy Trail in Green Ridge MO.
Awards
To ensure that a majority of the proceeds go directly to those in need, awards will be minimal. All participants will receive a shirt or tank. Runners that complete the 50M distance will receive a buckle, relay runners and cyclists will recieve a medal. Awards for 1st overall in Men's and Women's will be included as well.
National Recovery Month
National Recovery Month (Recovery Month), which started in 1989, is a national observance held every September to promote and support new evidence-based treatment and recovery practices, the nation’s strong and proud recovery community, and the dedication of service providers and communities who make recovery in all its forms possible.
