Pre-race Course Recon Run
Join us for a preview run of the Midstate Massive course! We are featuring two different sections of the course over two days. The first day (Saturday, August 16th) will feature a portion of the 100M race and the second day (Sunday, August 17th) will feature the final 12 miles of the course for all races. During the run, we'll also keep an eye out for trash, downed trees, and note other issues on the trail to inform the Midstate Trail Maintenance team. Space will be limited to the first 20 people who sign up and with priority given to registered runners in the 2025 race.

Transportation, pace & support
From the meeting location on Saturday, Barre Falls Dam Overlook Parking (Aid Station 6), we will provide transportation to the start of the course preview run at Wachusset Mountain Ski Area (Aid Station 4).
We will finish the run at Barre Falls Dam.
We will have a water refill station set up at Old Colony Rd. (Aid Station 5).
From the meeting location on Sunday, Douglas State Forest (Finish Line), we will provide transportation to the start of the course preview run at Whittier Farms (Aid Station 13). We will have a water refill station set up at Rt. 16 Douglas (Aid Station 14).
We will run a casual 12-15 min/mi pace in an effort to keep the group together. If you want to go slower or faster, that's okay too, just follow the yellow triangles.
