The LGNC More or Less a 10K Trail Run loops back to the start for the 14th Running of the Event
True to our motto that you will never run the same race twice, the race is excited to introduce it’s 7th entirely new course for the 14th running of the Lehigh Gap Nature Center 10K trail run and 2 Mile Scamper.
This year’s course is a loop course that starts and finishes at the Nature Center in Slatington, Pennsylvania.
The course touches all of the significant trails on the Nature Center property which includes a flat fast start on the D&L Trail before ascending the short steep Bobolink trail. At the top you will continue the quick start with another flat section on the LNE trail, all while taking in beautiful views of the fall foliage and the Lehigh River below you.
Next, you run through the lush, fern lined trails at 3 Ponds before making your way up through the Nature Center’s arboretum back onto the LNE trail. From there you will reach the western most point of the course at the Double G trail before making your way back to the Nature Center via the technical single track Chestnut Oak trail followed by the rolling hills of the Prairie Grass trail. Be careful of the fast technical descent down the LNE trail right before the finish at the Nature Center.
