CAPS Haunted Howl 5k

Welcome to Churchill Animal Protection Society’s first ever Haunted Howl 5k! We invite you to come run with us on the trails around the CAPS animal shelter in Fallon, NV. It’s a nighttime 5k so be prepared for ghouls, ghosts, and goblins! The trails will be well marked but a head lamp or flashlight might help keep the monsters away.

This is a fun run, all about raising money for the dogs and cats of CAPS. Run or walk, fast or slow, we are here for a good time. The CAPS dogs will be there to help cheer you on, so we ask that you DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN PERSONAL DOGS to this event. Costumes are highly encouraged. Refreshments will be waiting for you at the finish. Prizes will be given to the top 3 finishers and the best costume!

Time: Race starts at 6:30 PM, please arrive no later than 6:00PM.

Misc: Parking will be along the dirt road leading to CAPS and along Pasture Road if required. We encourage carpools if able. There is no packet pickup, just online registration through Ultra Signup or directly with CAPS.

Located in the rural community of Fallon, Nevada, and founded in 1986, Churchill Animal Protection Society (CAPS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit shelter caring for homeless dogs and cats by providing immediate medical assistance, critical spay and neuter surgeries, safe housing, educational resources for pet owners, and ultimately placing them into loving homes. These dogs and cats are worthy of a second chance, and without this group of caring supporters, they most often would perish.
