Lake Tye Challenge
The Lake Tye Challenge is a 12-hour, 6-hour, and 3-hour ultramarathon on a 1.75 mile loop trail around Lake Tye in Monroe, WA. Participants can choose any one of the timed races and run as many laps as possible within the timeframe. Results will be determined by the distance of your total completed laps. Partial laps will not be counted. Tiebreakers will be based on the shortest time to complete a round number of laps. Full aid station is provided at start/finish of each lap with water, electrolyte drink & energy rich "ultra running food".
Grass lawn at the start/finish area can be used for personal drop bags / canopies (must be weighted down with weights, no spikes). Direct beach access to cool down during/after race right at the venue.
This event is a fundraiser for Wild Sky Community Trails Association (https://www.wildskytrails.org), a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) whose mission is to promote and preserve non-motorized trails and recreation access in the Skykomish River Valley. Donations to WSCTA can be made on their website or at the event.
