LH Course Preview
Join Andy & Amy for a course preview/training run for the 2027 LH100. You do not have to be registered for the race to participate in the course preview/training run.
We will have the group campground reserved on Friday night for anyone interested in camping the night before the run. Reminder: this is a primitive campground with no water or electricity, and is tent camping only.
Event Details
The course will be marked, and we will provide a few water stops. The preview is one loop (16.8 miles). You are welcome to run more, but please note that we will start removing course markers, signs, and water stops at 1 pm. After that, you will have to rely on your memory or CalTopo!
Reminder: There is a $3 per person or $4 per vehicle fee to enter Colt Creek State Park.
We will provide more details about where to meet for the run as the event gets closer.
On Course Hydration
There will be water available at the run start, and the locations of the two on-course aid stations during the race. All of these stops will be unstaffed stations, with water only. Do you need food and electrolytes? Bring them! Plan to leave your drop bags/coolers in your vehicle. Since the park is open to the public, you will probably want to keep everything secure. The course will be marked with signs at the major turns and a few "confidence" flags until 1pm.
