10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

RACE DAY: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2026
SPACEROCK: the final trail running frontier.
These are the voyages of trail runners around the world.
Your mission: to explore strange new trails, to seek out new life and new experiences, to boldly run where no one has run before.
Experience the exotic trails and sights of the world famous Vasquez Rocks Natural Park in Southern California. Known as the backdrop for popular TV shows and movies including Star Trek, The Flintstones, Battlestar Galactica, Planet of the Apes, and many of our favorite classic westerns films.
Experience one of Southern California’s most difficult Half Marathon trail races. Run ultra trail conditions on the trails at Vasquez Rocks and Pacific Crest Trail over three peaks for over 3200 feet of elevation gain and descent. Combined with breathtaking panoramic views of the valleys and surrounding mountains makes the challenge all the more worth it. Runners should prepare in weeks leading up to the race with elevation training to ensure they are ready for a spectacular race.

Space Crew Support
According to past runners, we have some of the best aid stations in the industry. Not just the stations, but hands down the best SPACE CREW volunteers who take time to give back and make your race experience out-of-this-world.
We have 5 stations strategically positioned to provide the best support, depending on which distance you are running you'll hit 2 to 6 stations during your race. Our stations keep runners fueled with water, electrolytes from our hydration sponsor Gnarly Nutrition, gels, chews, salt capsules, sweets, snacks, and more to keep you going strong from start to finish.
Not running the race? See how much fun it is to support the runners as a SPACE CREW volunteer!
Spectacular Swag
When crossing the finish line you can always expect to receive a spectacular finisher medal. A medal that was custom designed to be fun, creative, and special just for the SPACEROCK Trail Race. Every year our medals change, you won't get a boring generic medal here.
Top that with our iconic retro space bag, and finisher shirt, plus if you are a returning Legacy Club runner you'll receive a unique bonus item to commemorate your legacy status. Jump over our Swag page to view each year's medals and goodies.
Cupless Race!
The SPACEROCK Trail Race is taking a big step towards sustainability by eliminating disposable paper cups at our aid stations. Our goal is to minimize waste and keep our beautiful trails and lands green for generations to come.
This means we will avoid using disposable cups at aid stations. Please help us on race day, bring your own collapsible cup, water bottle, or hydration pack for the race. You can refill water at the course stations. To help you prepare, we have compiled a list of essential items, recommendations, and helpful product links.
