The Event!
The Bridge to Ridge 15k/30k/60k are a set of FREE runs that traverse some of the most beautiful sections of trail we have available in North Georgia, while also providing a tiny bit of pain and suffering :)
The 15k and 30k distances are doable for most people of most skills levels, however the 60k should only be attempted if you are confident in your ability to take care of yourself for many hours.
The courses will be provided before the race, however the trails themselves will NOT be flagged, and signage will be used only at major turns/intersections. There will be "aid" on the course, but it will mostly be water drops along with some basic chips/pretzels/solid food.
There are plenty of other races to sign up for if you feel the need to be pampered by fancy aid stations, or showered in finisher swag (nothing wrong with either!). These runs are for bringing people together, and pushing ourselves in the mountains...
If all of this (or any of it lol) sounds exciting, please come and join us for a fun jaunt through the hills!
Stats:
15K = 9ish Miles with 1275ft of up (and the same amount of down) (3 hour cutoff)

60k = 37ish Miles with 7400ft of up (and the same amount of down) (12 hour cutoff)

Water/Aid/Support
It should be early enough in the year that we aren't all out there roasting in the heat, however a water filter of some kind would still probably be a good idea. Longest stretch without guaranteed aid should be about 8ish miles or so.
Water/aid will be available at these approximate mile marks:
Mile 4.7ish (15k/30k)
Mile 12.5ish (30k)
60k Aid Mile Marks
Mile 4.7ish
Mile 10.6ish
Mile 18.7ish
Mile 24.5ish
Mile 32.5ish
**PLEASE NOTE** all mileage estimates are just that, and we measure in "ish" in the mountains due to GPS differences. If you end up with more or less, the cost remains the same :)
