Description
This race is being held at Fort Stevens State Park in the NorthWest corner of Oregon near the mouth of the Columbia River on the beautiful Oregon coast.
The Race will start and finish at Coffenbury Lake at picnic shelter 'A’. It will utilize the hiking and biking trails within the park. Asphalt paved trails and a flat course will make this race an enjoyable experience. The last couple miles around Coffenbury Lake is single track, and it is generally rolling, light-technical trail. The route will go through two under passes and over a bridge in the park. Enjoy beachcombing, freshwater lake swimming, trails, wildlife viewing, a historic shipwreck and a historic military area. These are a few things that make Fort Stevens a uniquely diversified park.
