Race Info

Revolution Running is excited to partner with the Locust Grove Police Department and the Johnson Foundation to bring you the 3rd annual Breast Cancer Awareness 5k. The race will be held October 26th at 5 pm in downtown Locust Grove. This year the race will have a new evening start and a new course that starts and finishes at the City Park right behind Lovin' Oven. At the finish of the race if you elected to purchase the wrist band you will get a commemorative race cup and 2 beers from Lovin Oven so stay and hang out with your fellow runners to "hydrate" afterwards. Make sure to wear all your pink gear to show your support for breast cancer awareness! Registration is only $30 thru Sept 30th and you can add on the wrist band for $8!

Swag

Make sure to register by October 4th to be guaranteed a shirt. Upon registration, you can choose to include a souvenir race cup and two beers from Lovin' Oven for $8. A wristband will be given to you when you collect your bib, which you must show along with your ID to receive your beers.(Participants must be at least 21 years old) Additionally, we will present overall awards for the top male and female finishers, as well as for the top male and female masters, along with age group awards for the top three male and female competitors in each decade.

Charity

A portion of the proceeds of the race will go to support the Hands of Hope Clinic of Henry County.
Founded in 2004, Hands of Hope Clinic is the only charitable medical, dental and mental health counseling clinic in Henry County. Working to reduce healthcare inequities, Hands of Hope serves Henry County residents who do not qualify for Medicare, Medicaid, or VA benefits,and who are living at Federal Poverty Level and do not have the means to afford private insurance. Our mission is to restore the health and well-being of our patients, and eliminate healthcare inequities in our community while improving overall community health, and reducing unnecessary visits to the emergency room for non-emergency health events.
