About the Run:

February 16 @ Deam Lake SRA

730AM Endurance Run 6 & 12 Hours

930AM Fun Run Only 1 Lap

Come join us! If you've run this before take another look the loop is now a Laz "yard" distance!!! Crazy!

6 hour Or 12 hours of running @ Lake Vista Lunatics Endurance Run or 1 Lap "Fun Run"

Trail running on one of So Indiana's most popular segments plus prizes for top finishers and door/ random prizes also.

The "Lap" : its a 4.167 mile distance with the summit hitting around 25% - 30% grade. There are a few creek crossings which can usually be hopped and some trees down here or there. Some rooty and rocky technical towards the top. Take in the view from the top and race down the other side.

Strategy:

Runners will complete the marked course, aka "Lap" and then

You will return back to the crew area/start line and top of water bottles, nutrition

At the top of each subsequent hour on the mark runners will start another lap

730AM, 830, 930, 1030, 1130, 1230PM (Six Hours)
130PM, 230, 330, 430, 530, 630 PM (Twelve Hours)

and this will continue for either the 6 or 12 hours you have committed to.

*Fun Runners* will run 1 lonely "Lap" at 930AM

Not a last man standing but you must start at designated times if you miss start you wait that turn out but may catch the next.
Total time for all laps will be calculated and whomever has the fastest pace/ lowest total time and no missed laps will be the winner

Runners are expected to come prepared and bring their nutrition and hydration as well as family/crew as needed. As a precaution we will have some electrolytes and nutrition available also just as backup but please plan accordingly!

There are limited spots and when filled you will be added to a wait-list so we can control the attendance and keep traffic under control as this is a shared DNR site
