FREE for our Veterans

Using code “Dog tag” during registration both distances are FREE for our military service members. We are eternally grateful for your bravery and our deepest condolences to those who did not make it back home.

An outdoorsy active “thank you”.

For the seasoned runner or for a beautiful November morning stroll. On this Sunday we will come together to share a path with real life super heroes; our Veterans. With trestles and bridges along this scenic crushed limestone “rails to trails” section of the White River State Trail our participants will have two distances to choose from.
The first is a half marathon being 13.1 miles or an uncommonly referred to as a quarter marathon being 6.5 miles. Each course is an out ‘n back style meaning you get to your halfway point, grab a drink and some cheers, turnaround and head back to the start/finish area.
Let the day be an opportunity to connect, remember, show gratitude and have an even deeper purpose for our thankful time in nature.
*********The White River State Trail will remain open during our time out there to the general public. Pedestrian traffic does not require a pass, however bicycles do. Please go on to the DNR.wisconsin.gov site to prepurchase as needed*******

Awards/Swag

AWARDS: This will be a timed event with awards given to the top 3 women and men in each event.
Finisher awards will be given to all participants who completed their respective course.

SWAG: per our business standard swag is NOT included in your registration fees. To keep your up front costs down we don’t add it. You will however be able to purchase race and other brand specific goods while there.

We will NOT PROVIDE ALCOHOL and please leave your COWBELLS at home.

A donation made.

A portion of our profits will be donated back to a yet undecided local non profit that aids in Veterans welfare. We will announce who the recipient is as soon as we decide.
