Our Mission
Around the world, folks in our military make great personal sacrifices and risk their lives to protect freedom and our way of life. On April 29th we will have an opportunity to show our appreciation and do our part. As part of this, EnerSys is sponsoring a 5k run on April 29th in Reading, Pennsylvania OR virtually to support a great Veteran’s charity:
-Team RWB (Team Red White and Blue) Team RWB’s mission is to enrich the lives of Veterans through social and physical activities as well as community service events. This is an organization with local chapters nationally that help Veterans recover from challenges by providing the comradery, challenges and sense of duty that they all require. Proceeds from this race will be donated Team RWB.
We invite you to join us either in Reading, PA. at the EnerSys Global HQ on April 29th or participate virtually with your family and friends at your convenience!!
Together we can enrich the lives of our Veterans and maybe get in a little better shape at the same time!!
In Person 5k
Join us before the race starting at 4:00 PM to meet our vendors and pick up your race bib and official race shirt.
All participants will receive a finisher’s medal! Post-race food and beverages will be provided.
Virtual 5k
Don’t live near Reading, PA? No problem! We offer a virtual option so you can run or walk your 5K anytime at your convenience and still show your support for our veterans.
You’ll receive a race bib, shirt, and finisher’s medal. Your race packet will be mailed shortly after the live event on April 29.
