We are organising this event as a fundraiser for Bay Area Ridge Trail. Ridge Trail Organisation has a mission "To plan, promote and sustain a connected hiking, cycling, and equestrian trail on the ridgelines around San Francisco Bay—linking people, parks and open space for today and future generations."
100% of your entry fees goes towards Ridge Trail Organisation.
ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS
Trail width and surface varies from narrow paths to wide roads—soft in forests and along creekbeds, and firm and bare through grasslands. Be prepared for wind and fog on exposed ridgetops, and for heat on west- and south-facing slopes.
10KM Course (Hikers welcome)
Starting from Skyline Open Space Preserve (OSP), runners head towards russian ridge . You get to enjoy fantastic open vistas from russian ridge. All participants turnaround at ridge trail & charguin trail junction. They finish at Skyline OSP passing through horseshoe lake.

Half Marathon Course (Hikers welcome)
Enjoy the Peninsula’s finest views running hrough Skyline Ridge and Russian Ridge Open Space Preserves. Climb through open grasslands to high knolls with gradual elevation gains and loses. The route has narrow hiking trails and wide ranch roads on duff-covered to gravelly or rocky surfaces. These exposed ridgetops can be foggy and windy; trails on south- and west-facing slopes offer only intermittent shade.
Starting at Skyline Open space preserve, runners heads up Skyline ridge and continues onto Russian ridge before turning back towards Skyline OSP, finally ending at Skyline OSP.
Aid stations are at Russian ridge (mi 5), Skyline OSP(mi 10).

50K Course (Run Only)
Travel through moist evergreen forests, oak–madrone woodlands, and high grasslands along the crest of the Santa Cruz Mountains. You experience stunning coastal mountain views on this route through three open-space preserves and one county park. Trail width and surface varies from narrow paths to wide roads—soft in forests and along creekbeds, and firm and bare through grasslands. Be prepared for wind and fog on exposed ridgetops, and for heat on west- and south-facing slopes.
This course has everything Skyline OSP has to offer, Skyline Ridge, Russian Ridge, run up to Black Mountain for spectacular views of Santa Cruz mountains, on a clear day you can even see pacific ocean. This heads towards Stevens canyon before finally turning back on Longs ridge towards Skyline OSP.

Overall Cutoff : 9 hours.

Aid Stations
4 fully stocked Aid stations. It will have Water, Tailwind, fresh fruits , PBJ, soda and gels. There is a Water faucet for 50K course near Black mountain campsite. Finish area offers a elaborate Aid station with hot food for finishers.
Course Marking
We will have course marked with pink ribbons and red flags. All valid courses are marked with pink ribbons and red flags, wrong route marked with Blue ribbons. Incorrect route is marked blue for a short distance. Around turns you will see red/black stripped ribbons.
Cutoff Times
10K Course (runner and hiker friendly): 5 hours.
Half Marathon course is Run and Hiker friendly. It has generous cutoff at Russian Ridge Aid Station(mi 6) of 2:20hrs. Overall Cutoff is 5.5 hours
50K Course:
Waterwheel Aid Station (mi 15.5) pass the aid station in 4:10 hours
Saratoga Gap Aid Station (mi 26) pass the aid station in 7:15 hours , Overall cutoff for 50K is 9 hours at Finish (Skyline OSP)
