Red 7
We are so excited to host this inaugural virtual event at our beloved Percy Warner Park. There are two categories for this virtual event that you are able to complete at any time between March 24th and March 30th. You can go for the big one and do all 7 reds in one push equaling roughly 50k with more than 7000 feet of elevation gain. Or you can choose to split the challenge up into 7 days, you decide the schedule. You could do 1 lap each day, or 4 on the weekend and 3 during the week, it's up to you get creative. This event is meant to have something for everyone, so if you aren't a trail runner you can do either of the challenges as a hike. Each participant will receive a t-shirt and hat. There will be an after party Sunday the 30th, where you can pick up your swag and tell stories and compare notes.
Podium prizes will be awarded to the fastest times respectively. There will be prizes for 3 fastest females and 3 fastest males in each category. If you want to be considered for podium prizes you must record your lap(s) with a GPS device.
Since this is virtual you can start at any time any day of the week and at any park entrance, but all loops must be done at Percy Warner Park on the Mossy Ridge Trail (Red Trail). You will be your own support crew. Please follow all park rules, and be kind to others on the trail
