Set against the backdrop of Turkey's iconic fairy chimneys and ancient cave dwellings, this race offers a unique blend of physical challenge and cultural immersion. Whether you're tackling the full marathon, half marathon, or 10K, you'll traverse diverse terrains, from winding valleys to historic villages, all under the watchful eye of the region's unique rock formations.
Course Description: Navigating Cappadocia's Terrain
The race course is designed to showcase the diverse terrains of Cappadocia and primarily consists of varied terrains, including winding valleys and historic villages. Participants are advised to wear multipurpose trail footwear to navigate the diverse conditions.
- Distance Options: 42.2 km (Marathon), 21.1 km (Half Marathon), and 10 km
- Elevation Gain/Loss: +850m / -850m
- Highest Altitude: 1,250m
- Terrain Composition: 65% dirt roads, 25% single-track trails, and 10% urban paths
- Course Layout: Loop course starting and finishing in Göreme, traversing through canyons, valleys, and picturesque villages
- Support: Aid stations, medical assistance, and logistics support are available throughout the course
Race Requirements
Important: This registration on UltraSignup covers the 3% deposit for this adventure. After registering for their selected distance, runners are required to purchase the full travel package at Wildmarathon.com Store within 30 days of registering for your deposit.
You will be emailed a unique coupon code to apply at checkout, ensuring that only your remaining balance is charged.The package includes a 7-day program including transfers, accommodations and all meals that combines the race with acclimatization training.

- Pricing: Early Bird: €1,090; Regular: €1,190.
- Flight Information: Flights are not included; participants are responsible for booking their own travel to Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport.
- Equipment Recommendations: Trail running shoes, cap, sunglasses, and appropriate clothing for varying temperatures.

Beyond the Race: A Cultural and Luxurious Experience
The Cappadocia Marathon is more than just a race; it's a five-day cultural journey:
- Day 1 (Nov 7): Arrival at Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport, transfer to the hotel in Göreme, welcome briefing, and dinner.
- Day 2 (Nov 8): Early morning hot air balloon ride (weather permitting), breakfast, race circuit review, stretching session, free time, and dinner.
- Day 3 (Nov 9): Race day followed by rest time and trophy dinner.
- Day 4 (Nov 10): Horseback riding or rescheduled balloon ride, lunch, visit to caves and castles, and dinner.
- Day 5 (Nov 11): Breakfast, free time, and transfer to the airport.
