Want to enjoy the climb without being timed? Try our discounted hike option and still be included in everything except awards.

STATS

5 ish Miles.

1600 ish feet of elevation gain.

Highest point over 4600 feet.

COURSE

1 ish mile road climb to park entrance.
Turn right onto Mountain Ridge Trail.
M.R. Trail until left turn towards picnic shelter.
Go past P. shelter to Summit Trail.
Take S. Trail to Rhododendron Trail.
Take R. Trail to Lost Province Trail.
Complete clockwise loop back to P. Shelter Finish

MORE COWBELL

Everyone who comes to cheer participants up the final big climb will receive a custom bell.

All finishers will receive a custom bell so they can join in on the cheering!

Top 3 male and female OA finishers will receive fancy custom bells!

AFTER PARTY

We'll be cheering until the last person finishes! Local mountain music and refreshments on top of the mountain while we wait. Shuttles will be available to take you back down once everyone is done.

DONATION

A portion of each sign up will be donated to the Blue Ridge Conservancy to be put towards new trail construction in Ashe county!
