This event is officially sold out - if you are not registered, please do not show up asking to register. We are completely maxed on capacity and parking. No one will be allowed to register who's not already registered.

EVENT OVERVIEW

The Pineywoods Valley Night Relay is an endurance event featuring a 5K trail loop relay in the lush pine forest of East Texas at Pineywoods Valley in Gilmer, TX. The event follows a 3-mile loop, beginning and ending at the Pineywoods Valley property in Gilmer, Texas. Participants may compete solo or in teams of up to 5 people to complete a total of 25K.

COURSE OVERVIEW

- Surface: Rooty, dirt single-track trails with some grass sections
- Course: Pineywoods Valley Trail Loop (entire course is private trail on the property)
- Elevation: Rolling terrain, approx. 200 ft gain per loop
- Location: Pineywoods Valley in Gilmer Texas (5293 State Hwy 300 Gilmer TX). Do not visit this location outside of event.
- Weather: Historic Average 85-76 degrees humid night time weather.
- No Cup Race: We don't serve cups, please make sure to bring your own water-carrying system!

7PM to 8PM Packet Pickup
8PM 25K Relay Starts
12AM 25K Cutoff (4 Hours)

RELAY RULES

The Pineywoods Valley Night Relay is a 25K team trail race on a 5K loop in Gilmer, TX. Teams of 1 to 5 runners complete five total laps. Solo runners complete all 5 laps themselves. Teams can divide the laps however they choose.

Each team shares one bib, which is passed off between runners in a designated exchange zone at the start/finish line. Only one team member is allowed on course at a time. Headlamps are required for all runners.

Team time is based on the total time to complete all 5 laps.
