About the Race

The Frosty Buck is BACK!!!! December 13, 2025!!!!!

Since we have moved Bob's Big Timber Backyard Ultra to a new course, many people have asked when we will bring back the iconic original course - and now we are!!!! We are taking the Frosty Buck race we ran during COVID, moving it to December, and running it on the original BBTBU loop. We will be offering two distances - 50k and 25k. The 50k will start with a 2 mile section and then proceed with seven loops of the old course. The 25k will be three miles plus three loops.



These will be standard races and will NOT follow the backyard format. There will be a lightly stocked aid station available at the start/finish line of each loop.

The race will start at 8 am and will have a 4 pm cutoff time.
Shirts are guaranteed for orders by December 1st.
