An Epic Journey Through the Scottish Highlands

Previous participants describe Cape Wrath Ultra® as the experience of a lifetime thanks to the brilliant camaraderie between runners, the amazing support from the event team and the incredible journey through the stunning Scottish Highlands. We take care of all the logistics so that you can switch off and concentrate on running through beautiful scenery and meeting awesome like-minded people.

The epic journey takes in 400km over 8 days - beginning in Fort William and passing through many iconic Scottish landscapes such as Knoydart, Torridon, Fisherfield and Assynt on the journey north. The spectacular finish line is Cape Wrath lighthouse - the most north-westerly tip of the British Isles.

There is also the option to complete the first three days on the Cape Wrath 100!

Every evening there is a new ‘pop-up’ overnight campsite where you will get hearty afternoon snacks, dinner, and breakfast, catch up with fellow participants, have access to the race medics, and crucially get a good night’s sleep in tented accommodation. Live GPS Tracking is also included in your entry so friends and family can follow your journey north in real time.
