IRON HORSE

2025 S Collegiate Dr

Paris, TX 200 Miler, 100 Miler, 100K, 100K RUCK

EVENT OVERVIEW

On January 2, 2027, history will be made in Texas on the "Northeast Texas Trail" (NETT) with the launch of the IRON HORSE Endurance Run — featuring the first-ever true point-to-point 100K in Texas, the state’s first near point-to-point 100-mile, and one of the first 200-mile ultras in Texas

This isn’t just another ultra — it’s the biggest, baddest race Texas ultrarunning has ever seen. Runners will charge across the vast, untamed stretches of the NETT, a flat, open, and deceptively fast corridor that cuts through small towns, bridges, prairies, and rugged backcountry on gravel, dirt, pavement, and grass.

With full race support, aid stations, and the relentless spirit of Texas grit, this event is built to push the limits of endurance and etch its name into ultrarunning lore. Step onto the tracks, face the endless horizon, and claim your place in the first chapter of a race that will forever change the Texas ultrarunning landscape.

Crossing the line doesn’t just earn you a buckle — it earns you a piece of history. Each runner will receive a custom finisher’s plaque engraved with their name, distance, and route, complete with a built-in buckle holder to showcase their achievement. To make it truly unforgettable, every plaque includes an authentic railroad spike pulled from the Northeast Texas Trail — a lasting symbol of the grit, perseverance, and raw spirit it took to finish.

This historic event is brought to you by Texas Outlaw Running Company, Sigma Wolf, Paris TX, and the cities along the Northeast Texas Trail.

More details regarding aid stations, crews, drop bags, and other nitty-gritty details and info regarding the 200 miler are coming soon - stay tuned!
