The Grayt Pumpkin Race 5K, Presented by Dune Lakes Private Wealth Advisors

Get ready for a little nighttime fun! There is just something about running at night. Just in time for Halloween, it doesn't get much better! This 5K will be held in beautiful Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, one of the true gems of our area, with an absolutely incredible trail system and a stretch of private beach that is truly unparalleled.

This 5K course takes place exclusively on a paved path. No sand, no roots or rocks…nothing but asphalt...think flat, fast and furious! Headlights are not required but are encouraged.

This is a family friendly event so plan on bringing the whole gang!
Heck...wear your Halloween costumes! You know how kids can't wait to wear them, and wish they could wear them more than one day...this is the perfect solution! As a matter of fact, we'll be giving out candy every mile! Kids 12 and under are only $25!

Race Location and Packet Pickup

Packet pick up will be day of race at race location from 4:00pm -5:30pm. Race begins at 5:45.
So easy! Pick up your packet, put on your bib and run!

The Really Cool Part...

A portion of the proceeds from the registration for The Grayt Pumpkin Race 5K will go toward purchasing shoes for GIRLS ON THE RUN! Additionally, the Girls on the Run Club with the highest percentage of participants gets a pizza party!

Awards

All registered runners who cross the finish line will receive a very cool finisher’s medal. Also, all registered kids 12 and under will receive a Jack-O-Lantern Trick or Treat pail.

(Awards and finishers medals not picked up at the event can be shipped to home address at runners expense if needed.)

Refund Policy

Refund Policy
As a runner, it’s inevitable that at some point you’ll register for a race and later find out you’re unable to make it to the start line. It happens to all of us. Race registrations open months in advance, and life happens in between — injuries, work, family emergencies, and unexpected situations.
We absolutely get it — truly. Many of us have signed up for races we couldn’t attend, and we know firsthand that it’s disappointing.
However, even if the race hasn’t occurred yet, we’ve already incurred significant expenses to make the event happen. We pay taxes on registration income, secure permits, purchase insurance, and order supplies such as signage, course markings, bibs, hats, medals, and other awards. For these reasons, we are unable to offer refunds.
Transfers
While we cannot issue refunds, we can offer you the option to transfer your registration to another runner. Registered participants may transfer their bib to another runner within the designated transfer period. It is the participant’s responsibility to complete the transfer process by the posted deadlines.
