Grayt Jackalope 10 & 5 Miler, Presented by Dune Lakes Private Wealth Advisors

Established in 2017, the Grayt Jackalope 10 & 5-miler is where it all started for the Rotorhead 30A Running Company. As the name implies, the race offers two distinct courses: an 10-mile course and a 5-mile course. Both courses start and finish at the Grayton Beach State Park trailhead.

After race start, both 10 & 5-mile course runners will proceed from the trailhead parking lot directly onto the awesome (and awesomely beautiful) Grayton Beach State Park trail system. To ensure an orderly start and to avoid trail congestion, the 10-mile runners will start promptly at 8:00a, and the 5-mile runners at 8:10a. Both courses are incredibly scenic, allowing runners to experience a side of Florida most don't usually see!

Men’s and women’s winners and runner ups for both the 10-mile and 5-mile courses will receive awards. Age group awards will also be provided to the first place finishers from each age group. All registered runners who cross the finish line for their respective race will receive a suitably cool finisher’s award.

Be sure to register early. The first 50 to register by Nov. 7th will receive a very cool 12" Jackalope plushie!

Course Details:
The Grayt Jackalope will start and finish at the Grayton Beach State Park trailhead (gravel parking lot on CR-30A), with both the 10mile and the 5mile courses taking place exclusively on the Grayton Beach State Park Trail System.

Terrain:
While on the trails you can expect tree roots, rocks, sand, and if there is rain...standing water and mud! Whoohooo!

Awards:
Overall male and female winners and runner ups for both distances will receive awards. First place age group winners for both distances will receive awards. All participants who complete the course will receive super cool finisher medals.
10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89 (Awards and finishers medals not picked up at the event can be shipped to home address at runners expense if needed.)

Refund Policy

Refund Policy
As a runner, it’s inevitable that at some point you’ll register for a race and later find out you’re unable to make it to the start line. It happens to all of us. Race registrations open months in advance, and life happens in between — injuries, work, family emergencies, and unexpected situations.
We absolutely get it — truly. Many of us have signed up for races we couldn’t attend, and we know firsthand that it’s disappointing.
However, even if the race hasn’t occurred yet, we’ve already incurred significant expenses to make the event happen. We pay taxes on registration income, secure permits, purchase insurance, and order supplies such as signage, course markings, bibs, hats, medals, and other awards. For these reasons, we are unable to offer refunds.
Transfers
While we cannot issue refunds, we can offer you the option to transfer your registration to another runner. Registered participants may transfer their bib to another runner within the designated transfer period. It is the participant’s responsibility to complete the transfer process by the posted deadlines.
