Ultra Triathlon Relay
Our relay event delivers an elite-level experience with grassroots, family-oriented vibe, top-tier support, a passionate community, and a course built for both performance and camaraderie. Shorter loops, a support village and an event designed to build upon your weaknesses or refine strengths provides every athlete the opportunity to get the most out of their race.
We believe that health, fitness and mental fortitude should not end with a single event. Knowing this Mammoth provides pre and post-race communities of support to - not only facilitate race day events but also get you to the event and help you set your next goal. Ultra success is typically a life defining moment in which the lessons we have learned about who we are make us better and more reflective spouses, parents, family, and community members.
Mammoth Endurance relays are our opportunity to help those around us grow, bridge the gap and mindset around what we are capable of as humans, and intertwine a connectedness in us that most only have the pleasure of conceptualizing. Look forward to growing together.
Race Structure
This event offers a - choose your own adventure - format allowing athletes to refine strengths, build upon weaknesses, and work together to accumulate as many points as possible within a 12, 24 or 36-hour period.
Participants
The first step is determining whether you will take this adventure on solo or on a team of up to six. As each participant registers separately, your team has the potential to dynamically grow and shift as registration occurs - Mammoth will confirm the final team and distances ten days prior to the race.
Event Coordination
One member of your team is permitted to be actively on the course at a time. That member will complete their designated swim, bike or run loop(s) and then return to the athlete village to officially transition to a new team member. There is not a designated sequence, minimum laps, or specific events that any single athlete must participate in. Each lap will is allotted a number of points with the goal of the race to get to as many points as possible for your team.
Event Intention
Mammoth Endurance is designed to challenge peoples limits and facilitate events that allows us to reconceptualize difficulty. During this event there may be multiple intentions and while earning points is a great way to gauge our success - we know that this event has the potential to be so much more. So do not be afraid to hone in on your weaknesses, get a little (un)comfortable with the unknown, challenge yourself and see how your body and mind show up for you. Let’s see what we can accomplish together.
