Run Rocky is a 4 day, 4 night all-inclusive, guided mountain running adventure through Rocky Mountain National Park.

Transportation to/from Estes Park, CO at beginning/end of camp, Shuttle from DIA to camp available as an add on.

?Fitness
This is a 4 day mountain running camp covering 40 miles with many hours above tree line. The stronger you arrive, the more fun you will have. Our guides are experienced mountain runners who will monitor runners fitness over the camp. The capstone is a one way route clocking in 21 miles and 6,000ft of vertical gain crossing the Continental Divide.

Altitude
Basecamp is sleeping at 8,000ft; we only go up from there. The high point during the capstone is 12,800ft with an optional summit of 13,400ft.

Route
Our runs will take place on remote trails in and around Rocky Mountain National Park.

Food
Our guides will provide runner worthy cuisine cooked on site, trail nutrition will be provided.
At the completion of our capstone we will be buying lunch in Grand Lake. That lunch is included with the exception of alcohol.

Glamping
Basecamp is on private property just outside Estes Park, Colorado surrounded by single track trails. We provide tents, cots, outdoor showers, glacier melt creek for cold soaks and plenty of other glamping comforts.

What to Bring
Summer in the Rockies is warm, wet and unpredictable. Running gear is light so bring it all. Nights will be colder than you think and there is plenty of room for a big gear bag at Basecamp.

Money
The full cost of the 2026 trip is $1,900 - to be paid through Running Wild Events. A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $600 will hold your spot.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If the spot is cancelled prior to two months before the start-date the participant will receive a full refund MINUS the $600 deposit.

If the spot is cancelled within two months of the start date and NOT filled, then the person will be charged full amount.

INSURANCE
Trip insurance (www.travelguard.com) will help cover a cancelled trip or an unfortunate and costly Medical Evacuation.

We require that you purchase a Colorado Search and Rescue Card. It is only $5 for the year and helps cover very costly medical evacuations.

Costs cover guides with wilderness medical certificates, permits, liability insurance, food, Grand Lake to basecamp transportation, final lunch in Grand Lake. Costs do not cover transportation to basecamp/Estes Park, beers at Grand Lake lunch or optional guide gratuity.

This camp is hosted by Running Wild Events, in Partnership with KMAC Guides, an official Rocky Mountain National Park guide service.
