Relentless 24
The Rockies' 24-hour endurance run
Ready to see how far you can go in a single day? Relentless24 gives you 24 hours to run your heart out on some of the most scenic trails in the Canadian Rockies. Whether you're flying solo or teaming up with friends, this event is as much about grit and fun as it is about distance. Set against the stunning backdrop of Canmore, Alberta, this is your chance to push past limits—and maybe catch a sunrise while you're at it.
Course
Hosted at the Canmore Nordic Centre, the course features two marked loops: a daytime loop and a nighttime loop (course TBC). Expect flowing singletrack, wide doubletrack, and a mix of climbs and cruisy descents through forest and foothills. You'll run these loops as many times as you can over 24 hours, switching to the shorter night loop after sunset. All loops start and end at the same central hub, making it easy to access aid, crew, and gear.
There’s no fixed mileage target—this is a personal challenge. Whether you're aiming for 30 km or chasing 100+, the clock is your only limit. For relay teams, it's all about strategy: rotate often or take longer turns, and make the most of your teammates’ energy and pacing styles. Expect cool overnight temps, variable light, and that special satisfaction that comes with a headlamp-lit finish.
Aid & Support
Aid and support are centralized at the main start/finish area. You’ll return here each loop to refuel, swap gear, and recharge with your crew or teammates. While full aid station details are provided in the Racer Guide, the setup ensures consistent support every 5–8 km. Headlamps and reflective gear are mandatory for night loops.
Runner Experience
Relentless24 thrives on community. From soloists grinding out midnight miles to teams cheering each other at every lap, the energy is inclusive and supportive. Post-race, expect draw prizes, podium awards, and extra incentives for participants who raise funds for Ever Active Schools—every $50 donated earns you an extra draw ticket. Photos and results are posted after the event, and the stories? Those you'll be telling for years.
