Join us for the 2nd Commodore 24 hour Challenge at Gulf Coast State College.
Are you ready to take on the challenge of running for 24 hours? Let’s go! The challenge is you have a run 1 mile every 30 minutes.

Don’t think this is a task to go solo on? No worries, we have a team option. Grab your running buddy and sign up for the 2-person team.

Bring out your family & friends and create a tailgate at the race venue. Have them run by your side for the harder miles or cheer you on at the start/finish line.

Participants should plan on bringing enough food and hydration to last them 24 hours, however we are planning on some special snacks and food throughout the night.

Runners must be at least 16 years of age to participate.

All runners are encouraged to bring a pop-up tent or camping tent to set up on the baseball field. This will be your home away from home for the next 24 hours.

In order to guarantee a Commodore 24Hr Challenge shirt, you MUST signup by October 1st.

*********Gulf Coast is a pet free campus so please ensure that no pets are brought to the race day venue. Please do not make us the bad guy by having to send your beloved pet home****** This is enforced by campus security and part of the campus' insurance policy.

Refund Policy

Refund Policy
As a runner, it’s inevitable that at some point you’ll register for a race and later find out you’re unable to make it to the start line. It happens to all of us. Race registrations open months in advance, and life happens in between — injuries, work, family emergencies, and unexpected situations.
We absolutely get it — truly. Many of us have signed up for races we couldn’t attend, and we know firsthand that it’s disappointing.
However, even if the race hasn’t occurred yet, we’ve already incurred significant expenses to make the event happen. We pay taxes on registration income, secure permits, purchase insurance, and order supplies such as signage, course markings, bibs, hats, medals, and other awards. For these reasons, we are unable to offer refunds.
Transfers
While we cannot issue refunds, we can offer you the option to transfer your registration to another runner. Registered participants may transfer their bib to another runner within the designated transfer period. It is the participant’s responsibility to complete the transfer process by the posted deadlines.
***When you sign up for this event, you acknowledge and accept that registration fees are non-refundable.
