The Format
Every hour, on the hour, a bell rings. You run 4 miles. You come back. You do it again.
There is no finish line. No set distance. The race ends when only one runner remains AKA the Last Person Standing. That runner is the only official finisher. Everyone else gets a DNF participation award (ultrasignup will reflect your place and distance)
The Course
4.0 miles per loop | ~200' of vert per loop | 60 minutes to complete each loop
Time and Distance Examples
6 hours - 24 miles / 1,200' vert
12 hours - 48 miles / 2,400' vert
24 hours - 96 miles / 4,800' vert
48 hours - 192 miles / 9,600' vert
The Rules
THE RULES
1. Loops begin every hour, on the hour. You must be at the start/finish when the bell rings.
2. You have 60 minutes to complete the loop. Any remaining time is yours to rest and recover.
3. Miss a loop start or fail to finish in time and you are disqualified.
4. No pacers permitted at any point.
5. Crew is allowed at the start/finish only. No course access.
6. Aid is available at the start/finish only. Carry what you need on the loop.
7. One official finisher.
