BRADBURY BRUISER

528 Hallowell Rd

Pownal, ME Bruiser

Registration Opens Tue. Mar 31, 2026 @ 12:00 AM ET

Welcome to the Bruiser

There is no letting up on the Bruiser. This race takes you on the majority of Bradbury’s East Side trail system and delivers a longer, more demanding course filled with rugged New England terrain.

Expect a crazy twisting, turning 12-mile loop of single-track trails filled with rocks, roots, bumps, and hills. Save something for the last two miles, as the “O-Trail” is where this race earns its name.

The Bruiser: Tough miles, great trails, and the Trail Monster community waiting at the finish line.

Cutoff Time

The race cutoff is 3 hours 36 minutes
(18-minute mile pace)

Registration Cap

Each race in the Bradbury Mountain Trail Series is capped at 180 runners.
When this number is reached, registration will close and no additional entries will be accepted.

• No waiting list
• No bib number transfers. No Exceptions
• No same day Registration

We keep the races intentionally small to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants and because parking at Bradbury Mountain State Park is limited.

This series is about quality, not quantity.

Trail Monster Running

Trail Monster Running is a not-for-profit organization.

All organizers including race directors are unpaid volunteers who put on these races simply because we love trail running and the community that surrounds it.

Proceeds go to equipment to make our races better, as well as local nonprofit organizations and charities related to the outdoors and trails, including such groups as Royal River Conservation Trust.

Any leftover race shirts or hoodies are donated to local homeless shelters.
