KIDVENTURE MINOR REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
To properly register a child for the Kidventure 1.5Mi or 5K events, please follow these steps carefully. This ensures accurate timing, tracking, and correct participant assignment.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1) Log Out of Your UltraSignup Account
Before starting, make sure you are fully logged out of your personal UltraSignup account. This prevents the system from assigning your child’s registration to your profile.
2) Begin Registration for the Event
Go to the event page and click Register to start the process.
3) Select “Register as a Guest”
When UltraSignup prompts you to sign in, look to the right side of the screen and click the green link labeled “Register as a Guest.” This is required for all minor registrations.
4) Complete the Registration Form
Enter your child’s information as the participant. Follow the prompts until the registration is complete.
***Important Notes for Families Registering Multiple Children***
- If you are registering more than one child, you must use “Register as a Guest” for each child.
- You do not need multiple email addresses. You may use the same email for all children as long as you register each one as a guest.
- Using this method ensures each child is properly entered into the system for timing, tracking, and race results.

The first-ever kids’ 5K trail race presented by Terrain Trail Runners!
Kidventure 1.5Mi & 5K is the region’s only trail race designed exclusively for young runners, created to spark confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love for the outdoors. Open to children 12 and under, participants can choose between a 1.5-mile course or a full 5K each crafted to be fun, challenging, and truly unforgettable.
Hosted every November at Quail Ridge Park in Wentzville, Missouri, Kidventure brings families together to celebrate movement, nature, and the pure joy of trail running.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Kidventure 1.5Mi trail race will start/finish at Quail Ridge Park, Wentzville, MO at Shelter 6. The Kidventure 1.5-mile course is a loop featuring mostly flat prairie singletrack dirt trails with approximately 20 feet of elevation gain. It’s very runnable and beginner-friendly—perfect for young trail runners.
The Kidventure 5K trail race will start/finish at Quail Ridge Park, Wentzville, MO at Shelter 6. The Kidventure 5K course is a loop featuring a mix of prairie singletrack dirt trails, rolling hills, and a couple of short, punchy climbs. Runners will encounter creek crossings, rocks, and roots to keep things fun and engaging, with approximately 175 feet of elevation gain. It’s the perfect mix of challenge and fun to keep kids engaged from start to finish.
**Please note: Strollers are not allowed on either Kidventure course. The trail layout is not stroller-friendly.
START TIME & TIME LIMIT
Kidventure 1.5 Mile Designed for kids 8 years and under
Start Time: 10:00 a.m.
Cutoff Time: 2.5 Hours
Kids 8 and under are required to have a parent, adult, or family member accompany them on the course.
Kidventure 5K Designed for kids 9–12 years
Start Time: 10:30 a.m.
Cutoff Time: 2.0 Hours
Parents are not required to run with their child on the course, but an adult must be present at the event for the entire time their child is on course.

FAMILY DISCOUNT
We offer a 15% discount for any family registering three or more kids for the Kidventure 1.5-mile and 5K distances. This discount applies when all children with the same last name are signing up for the Kidventure race in the same year. Please contact us to receive your family discount code before completing registration.

SWAG and AWARDS
Custom cotton lifestyle short-sleeve youth shirts are available for an additional $15. Swag can be purchased during registration. We will also have shirts for sale on race day for $15 cash only. Please note that race-day sizes will be limited.
All finishers will receive a custom Kidventure medal.
There are no awards for the Kidventure 1.5-mile race.
For the Kidventure 5K, the top 3 boys and top 3 girls will receive a custom, handmade award.
POST RACE
Join us for some hot chocolate and snack at the pavilion in the park and cheer on your fellow Kidventure racers.

PLEASE NOTE: All our races are CUP-FREE and please bring your own MESS KIT with a plate and spork for post-race coffee and snacks.
