The Concept

We will be running a multi loop group run on the trail around Old Camp Cosby Lake.
There will be 10 prayer stations with specific prayer prompts for the people in and around the Sea of Galilee.
One lap is 1.55 miles long. The total distance around the Sea of Galilee is 37 miles...are you willing to go the distance?

This is a FREE Event

This is a FREE 5k or further multi loop group run around the Old Camp Cosby Lake in Clay AL! Everyone is welcome to join in for 2 Laps, or as many as you care to do.

We will begin with a 5min devotional, a short prayer, and then we will all start together. There will be arrows on the course for you to follow. And there will be multiple water stations. There will also be a clock set up, but there is no official timer for this event.

*This is a FREE group walk jog run through the Trecho Walk Jog Run group at FBCTrussville. There is no need to register for this, ALL Trecho events are sign in events, so there is no requirement to register. Signing up/ registering just helps with planning purposes. 

About Old Camp Cosby Lake

The lake was built in 1907 and became the centerpiece of YMCA Camp Cosby in 1922. Camp Cosby has since moved to a larger location, but the 26-acre lake remains an awesome public park for everyone to enjoy!
